🌟 Shane Carden Enters ECU Hall of Fame
Wood River High School head football coach Shane Carden is being inducted into the East Carolina University Athletics Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025. Carden, ECU’s starting quarterback from 2012–2014, threw for nearly 12,000 yards and 86 touchdowns, adding 24 rushing scores and even one receiving TD. After time with the Chicago Bears and international leagues, Carden joined Wood River in 2018 and became head coach in 2019. His Wolverines open the 2025 season August 29 at McCall-Donnelly. Carden’s Hall of Fame induction will take place November 8.

🐯 Bengals Begin Fall Camp
Fall camp is officially underway for the Idaho State Bengals, who hit the field yesterday for their first practice of the 2025 season on the newly renovated ICCU Practice Field. With helmets on and pads off, Day 1 focused on tempo, playbook installation, and execution. Head Coach Cody Hawkins says it’s all about fundamentals and sharpening details even without contact.
