Ada County deputies chased a white Dodge Durango after multiple car break-ins. The suspect reached speeds near 100 mph. The vehicle was last seen heading east on I-84.

- Haystack Fire in Wendell
Crews from Wendell Rural, Hagerman, and Gooding responded to a large haystack fire at West Point Farms. White smoke was visible more than a mile away. - Hatwai Fire Near Lewiston
The Hatwai Fire burned 250 acres and is now 50% contained. Evacuations have been lifted, but crews remain on scene. Smoke from Canadian wildfires is also affecting northern Idaho air quality.

- Boise Pride Event Canceled
The “Season Kick-Off” event scheduled for June 6 at the Knitting Factory has been canceled due to low ticket sales. Organizers promise full refunds.

- Idaho Keeps AAA Credit Rating
Fitch Ratings has reaffirmed Idaho’s AAA credit rating for the fifth year. Cited factors include strong tax policy, a booming economy, and substantial reserves. Idaho’s population has grown 27% in 15 years.

- CSI Softball Honors
Alyce Archuleta and Abbie Banning of CSI Softball made the NFCA All-West Region Second Team. CSI finished 40-16 and reached their fourth straight NJCAA National Tournament. - Boise State Stadium Expansion
Bronco Nation gathered to sign a steel beam for the North End Zone expansion at Albertsons Stadium. The $65 million project will include athlete dining and gathering space. Construction remains on schedule. - CSI Women’s Basketball Signings
